MOON is to NIGHT as SUN is to ?
Hint: What is the opposite of night?
ANSWER: day.
The sun is the nearest star to Earth. Sunlight shines upon the Earth, and without it we would not be able to see anything. The light that appears to be coming from the moon is actually the sun’s light reflecting from the moon. The Sun is a very bright, gassy ball that emits heat and is millions of miles from Earth.
Why do you sometimes see the moon in the daytime?
